Atom 1.0 is Almost Final 

Tim Bray has posted an update on Atom 1.0, with some key links as the IETF works to approve the standard. First, a quick comparison between Atom 1.0 and RSS 2.0, which is useful for implementors, and a number of Atom feed format tests, which the community can make contributions to. At this time, the IETF is expected to accept the draft published at atompub.org as soon as one registered objection is resolved.
